My friend's mower is making this sputtering noise, I don't know how else to describe it. What do you think it could be? The engine? Or something less serious? It's not completely consistent, so it's weird to me.

most sputtering (running issues) is due to fuel or carburetor problems... what type engine is on it?? :smile:KennyV
