speed control cable problem

I have a craftsman snow blower model number 944524410 ,
My problem is the drive speed cable from R TO 123456
jumped out of its place as I was replacing the control console
how can I reinstall the this cable and hook it up to my shifter lever
or do I need a new one ,I think my speed control cable number is PS16375492 .

Please can someone help me solve this problem ,

I have no idea but many cables are dog legged on the end, and that allows them to slide into a hole and lock in place. You might take a photo of the end of the cable and another of what it attaches to so someone can make a suggestion.

Im not a mechanic but like, there are wire fixes, idk what its called but you can buy something that clips onto both sides of the "damage" and allows them to prevent it drom breaking, but just replavce it yourself
