The one with the snowblower is a 1978 1614 Power King. I bought the snowblower at an auction and used the engine out of a 12 HP Ford tractor. There were 3 snowblowers at the auction 2 were yellow and said Cub Cadet on them mine say MTD and its black but it was new and never used and was cheaper than the CCs. Power Kings don't go slow enough for a snowblower unless they have tandem transmissions thats why the Ford engine runs the blower. The tractor still wasn't slow enough so this winter it has the tandem transmission. The Power King with the blade is a 1959 rope start, and the blade which was made for a 4 wheeler was $10 at an auction , almost the last thing sold. The tractor starts on the first pull in the summer but in the winter I usually heat the carb with a hot air gun so it will start on the first pull. The Cub Cadet belongs to my Grandson Levi, he buys, fixes them up and sells them. I don't know if he still has this one. He has at least one with a plow, and at least one with a blower and one with a loader. A little while ago he told me he had seven. I hope the pictures show up, thats harder for me than fixing up a tractor to blow snow. If they don't show up someone will have to school me.

Here's mine, 2012 John Deere X320 with a 44in blade. I put a rubber cutting edge on it to help clear the snow and slush better. No snow yet so haven't used it yet

I don't know about Virginia but in NY you would need wheel weights and tire chains. Other then that it is a nice looking outfit.

Yea we need chains and weights. I had to order a new set of chains and they're not in yet.

I always liked the old Power King tractors. If I ever come accross one with a duel trans at a reasonable price I think I would give it some serious thought.

Oh, and that JD ain't so bad either:thumbsup: Noticed that you had no chains or weights. Do you think you'll need them?

I'll need the chains, but probably not the weights. The way this winter has gone, I may not need the plow, it's 60 degrees out.

It's been a very mild winter so far. Its normally on the 70-80s in the summer.

Seeing as you asked, I wear underwear from November to February. Gets a bit cold during those months...
