Snow Joe / Sun Joe vs Greenworks, Craftsman, Cobalt, B&D etal, 40v mowers?

I've been in contact with Snow Joe per a few issues I find with the design of my new this year Snow Joe Ion 18SB 40v Li Ion battery powered snow blower and a battery QC issue. Along the way involving a few facebook page posts and phone and e-mail contacts about the batteries with a "fuel gauge" switch consistency problem i received an e-mail from their CEO, Joseph Cohen. any of you who have done any extensive research into what is available in the way of cordlerss electric mowers these days are likely to have run across a STRIKING commonality between all of the twin blade 40v 20" rotary mowers on the market. the Greenworks, Craftsman, and Kobalt mowers of this specific nature appear IDENTICAL except for color. Also there are striking similarities between the 16" 40v single blade models of Greenworks Ryobi and Black and Decker's mowers. per my phone conversation with Mr Cohen, at least the Ryobi 40 volt cordless snow blower and both the 40v and 80 volt Greenworks 20" snow blowers are all made by the same people in China. They do look almost if not completely identical except for the battery chamber details. This plus the above mentioned similarities between various brands of cordless mowers seems to corroborate Mr Cohen's claims about his competitors. My research has failed to produce any significant info about what Mr Cohen claims to be the common source of all that inter-brand similarity, Sunrise Global Marketing. Does anyone have any sources that might clear this matter up? One maker for ALL of these "competing" cordless electric yard equipment products??? Here are a few of the links.
