Snapper riding mower

Can't get mower to crank. Was mowing & it started robbing low RPMs. Turned it off & now it won't crank. Tried cleaning plug. Advice?

What does crank mean to you? To me it means the engine turning over. You know how the old cars had a crank handle on the front.

If mine wouldn't crank...I would not look at the spark plug...I would start with looking at the battery.

That is why I am asking.

It is a hand pull mower. There is no battery.

I would try a new plug and check for spark.
