What did the lines look like when you changed the pump? A leaky vac line to the pump can do this. I would check the flow to and from the pump. I don't know how much you have to disassemble to get the fuel line off the carb...

Thanks Mark! I got new lines with the fuel pump but it`s so hard to take everything apart to even get to the lines` connection points I just left the old lines on and it ran fine till now. The vacuum tube is flexible and seems in good shape, although I can`t see where it connects...................LOL
