how to remove drive disc from motor shaft of a snapper riding mower?

It is held onto the shaft with 2 set screws. Should then slide off if not seized to shaft. Has to be set to a certain clearance to the rubber drive disc when reinstalled. Can be measures but Snapper actually has a gauge for that purpose also.

Got any ideas as to how to remove seized drive disc from the engine shaft. I have tried 1 1/8" fine thread short 2" bolt using 1/2" tongue wrench without luck? Would you suggest a larger wrench and what size?

Make sure the set screws are loose or better yet just remove them. then you can put penetrating oil down the holes to get the soaking process working. may be able to clean the shaft above the disc of rust and then tap the disc upward toward the engine, and then start working it back down and get it off that way.

Air hammer, T-N-T, pulley puller, dynamite and king kong fingers. Take your pick. 1 and 3 are a good start.
