Cub Cadet RZTL-42 Small fuel/vapor line melted off without an explosion. Prob 5/16 from fuel tank to where?

Sorry, i was being lazy and whiney. I took a flashlight and the nipple was black which was then easy to see with the light. My bad. Thanks.
