Hi everyone, I'm new here, and I hope to share in some knowledge and learn something.
My neighbor recently gave me his simplicity lawn tractor, because he was moving. The tractor had a bad fuel pump, so I replaced that.
After replacing the fuel pump, the tractor ran for a few minutes, but was spurting gasoline out of the carburetor. I removed the air filter to take a look, and I found a hose coming out of the carb, that was plugged with a screw (?). I'm not sure what this hose is for, or what it is called. I have some pictures below. One of them shows the hose with the screw in it, the other is the carb with the hose pulled off.
As for model numbers, here is what I pulled off the engine:
16 HP Briggs & Stratton 303777
Type 0122-01/5526
Code 90060511

Thanks for your time, sorry if I didn't put this post together right.
