Should I buy this ?

Hey ,

I started my lawn care business last year here in Montreal. I did alright my first year and i'm planing on getting bigger and more organised. This year I want to get a tractor. I' m interested in a Used Walker mower.

The dealer is selling it for 6000 $ It is the diesel model , has 2000 hours on it , 21 Hp Kubota Motor , and also has a High-dump system.

I spoke to the dealer, says everything works perfectly ,but he wanted me to know the gearbox was leaking...

That is why I need your help. Im not an expert on tractors but I really need one . So is this a good purchase for me ?? How much do you guys think it is worth ?

I wouldn't buy it. Unless that hi dump is important to you. You can get a better cheaper mower. 2000 hrs is alot in my book

It would be like buying a car with 200,000 miles on it. Is the transmission leaking oil poring out or seepage. Seepage is normal, bad leak isn't normal and keep away

Sounds like a lot of hours to me also. I think you may have a lot of maintenance and cost with this unit.

to bad , The high dump would of been useful for fall clean-ups. If i buy another walker and add the high dump , do you hve any idea of the cost for the high dump system? Anyways , thanks , I wont buy !

We call that a toy down here! We've got the biggest snow removal fleet in the world if there's one thing we have its tractors lol
