Sealed hydrostatic transmission

Anyo had any luck draining a Hustler Raptor sealed hydrostatic transmission.
I know they're supposed to be sealed and never need the transmission oil changed but oil breaks down over time and use.
 
Need the model number from serial number tag to look up the IPL to verify. But this normally how you change on unit without an external oil filter. IF has external oil filter then you would simply remove the filter. That is a different procedure as they would be different hydros.

Okay they are Hydro Gear ZT-2200 EZT unit and instructions in post #2 is correct.

Very fun to do isn't it...
 
I have the 2100s and after I get them nice and hot after mowing for an hour or so I take the plugs off and suck out about a 3/4 quart of oil and fill with fresh synthetic. I do it every other season. Much easier procedure for just a homeowner's machine. Really lame they didn't add a drain plug to these. Planned obsolescence?

Do you think it would be possible suck the oil out on 2200s. Or do you have to remove them.
