Hi everyone, I've got a 99 scotts 16 hp riding mower that I put away for a while, now I'm trying to get it ready to sell. I've got a buyer but he wants it running so he can drive it home, I did not think that was going to be a problem because it ran fine before putting it up, and yes all the fuel was removed before storage. We can not get the tractor to turn over unless we short the selonoid with a wire. I now there are general use selonoids available, the problem getting the old one out, it looks like its got two bolts coming up from the underside of the frame that you cant seem to get to. I'm sure that when they put this thing together it was floating down the assembly line upside down without ever a thought of what to do if this broke? Is there anybody out there that knows an easy way to replace this thing?
