Repairs Scag 72" - Reserve Tank (Briggs 825462) - Other options?

Greetings,
I continue to destroy my reserve tank - Briggs item# 825462 on my Scag... about once or twice a year on average. Has anyone found a suitable replacement for this? To replace this, the best price online I can find is about $50. But that includes the hoses, cap and tank... Hoses are fine, I just need a good replacement tank and cap that won't break all the time.... OR a replacement container that is stronger. Ideas?

Heck go to an auto parts store and see if they have one. I got something like that for my son and it was like $15.00
