RZT50 zero turn TRANSMISSION ISSUES.

Been an issue for awhile but over the winter trusting internet, I changed trans fluid on a sealed trany. No issues with old oil, no metal, et al.. Now, no reverse. I keep messing with linkage and jacked up have reverse but on ground, nothing. What can I do..................... PLEASE ADVISE. THANKS

Sounds like air still in the tranny system. These often require a lot of activation back and forth while jacked up off the ground. How did you change the oil? Suction it out and then refill? Did you use a regular 20W-50 oil like most of them recommend?

The linkage should not require much adjustment.

I have an RZT 50 S (steering wheel model), but I think the drive motors are the same.

There are Service manuals that indicate that you must purge the air out of the tranny. I have done this many times. I think you hold down the petal for 30 seconds a few times. Maybe someone else has the specifics.
