Craftsman mower with 7.5 Briggs OHV engine. Extreme back pressure when trying to start. Pulls cord out of your hand with extreme force. I have replaced flywheel key and opened engine. Did valves and removed piston, cleaned rings. checked cam lobes Every thing looks ok Honed cylinder also still will not start and pulls cord out of my hand. Any Ideas???

Very hard to pull usually means the decompressor is not working

Absolutely, engine cold, need to adjust valves to specs. & then give it a try.
