Ryobi petrol mower cuts out

I have a Ryobi RLM46173 173 cc 4-stroke petrol mower. The carb was gunged up with E10 petrol. I've cleaned that out and it starts, but will only keep running if someone keeps pressing the prime button. Any ideas please?
 
This is an older UK market model from what I can find online.

Sounds like the carburetor needs to be disassembled and all of the tiny passages cleaned out really well. Worst case, the carburetor needs to be replaced. Ryobi is just the brand of the unit.

What engine is on this? Briggs and Stratton, Kohler or other?

Not sure what your sources for spares where you are at might be.
