I have had a Ryobi RM480e electric riding mower since 2019. Always garaged, always cleaned (scraped and blown) after each use and never used in particularly wet conditions. It has been great in every way except for one problem: The #2 pin slot on the motor controller side of the connector seems to have lost its copper coating at some point (probably years ago - it looks bubbly and melted away) and it has done the same to its matching pin in the motor side of the connector (3 times, 3 motors). Now that I've understood what's happening, I will obviously replace the controller side of the connector too but I'm wondering if it was a factory defect or something that can happen again. Anyone else have a problem like this and figured out what the original cause could be? Thanks

Sorry to hear your trouble, this was a poor design idea for Ryobi.
