Does anyone have one of those rpm gauges that wrap around the spark plug wire to use while adjusting carbs? I could use one and thought about buying one, but wanted to see what everyone else uses.

You could use one of these...
Tiny Tach II - YouTube
BUT WHY?? as you can see a small engine especially a single cylinder engine is all over the place... I can think of no application that a tachometer would be useful on it...
To use one while adjusting the carb is not going to be efficient, you will hear & feel the change in RPM easier & More accurately than any tachometer.

Briggs markets a vibration tachometer for those that 'thought' it might be handy... I know a few folks that bought one... then descovered it is not something they could ever use... : TACHOMETER HONDA BRIGGS STRATTON KOHLER KAWASAKI NOS | eBay
Neither type is of any actual 'use'... But if you think it will do something for you... they are available. :smile:KennyV

Thanks for the info. I was actually going to use it to adjust my carb today, but I just did it by sound. It runs and idles great now. I think I'll save my money, because you're right, it really isn't that useful.
