Rough Idle

I have a 310000 Intek. Have replaced fuel filter, fuel pump (597338) and carb and the motor still runs rough/pulsing. Seems like partial fuel starve/fuel in filter seems low (see photo). Have another 597338 but would prefer not to waste another part if possible. Air filter and plug a 1yr old/clean. Any suggestions? Thanks

in that picture, which side of the fuel lines go to the carb, and which side comes from the tank?
you may have the filter on backwards.

That fuel looks stale and varnished up. Notice the yellow colored filter media and fuel. Drain the tank and flush out with pure ammonia. That will clean the tank like new. Carb internals probably looks like a jelly doughnut.
