I am looking for info on how to change the transmission belt on Yard machine(mtd) Model 13a1762f729.
It is 13.5 hp Tecumseh powered.

WELCOME to LMF...
That model has a drive belt located above the deck drive belt... Plus at the rear there is a Variable speed pulley and belt...
Lots of stuff to remove, (take many pictures, Before removing anything) ... The only hing you will appreciate when you are done is the fact that it should be a Long time before you'll need to do this again.

Take pictures As you remove brackets and pins... You will not regret having too many pictures, (post some of them as you go) .
It will give the rest of us a chance to see what we are 'missing' out on,...
