My husband has changed the starter solenoid, air filter, bought a new battery and still won't even turn over. It's a 679cc zero-turn riding mower only a year old. Any advice to find the issue would be most appreciated! Our yard is getting tall...no grass just weeds! Thank you!

Spray some Roundup and be done with it all.

Need mower and engine numbers please.

Pictures are helpful too.

You can go to the Troy site and download your manual. Here is a screen grab of fails to start stuff.

Remove the sparky plugs. See if it cranks over.

You can short across the starter solenoid with a screwdriver. If it cranks over the solenoid is bad. If it doesn't crank you have starter issues.

Slowie, you know better
If it works, the solenoid is not working it could be perfectly good , just not connected properly or not getting a trigger signal .

Lets start from the top
Why did hubbie change those parts in the first place.
What happened ( or did not happen ) way back in the beginning .
