Riding Mower Belt

Hello all, I have a TB RM 42" and the belt keeps coming off, is there a way to adjust it, or does it has to be changed all together? my mower is from 05, and the only thing that I had to do was change the plug an a new bat, the belt is really loose, that`s why I`m asking about adjustment. Not sure about your problem, but more complete information about model will help anyone who is familiar with that model. Check the Troy Built web site - they may have owners manual or parts diagrams.
