I store a cub cadet lx 1045 for an elderly neighbor during the winter. Today I was in a hurry and re-installed the battery for him so he could mow. When I hit the key, the starter just clicked and everything went dead. no lights, no dash, no gauges. nothing.... at first I thought it was a dead battery and went to get another one. When I got back I noticed the switched cables. What do you think I did? Am I lucky enough to get away with a blown fuse? The only fuse location I can locate on line is one under the seat along side the battery. I havent even looked at it again and I'm sick over it. Does anyone have any advise on what it might be? Thanks in advance for any help.

There should be no damage other than that fuse may have pop. Put the cables on proper and replaced the fuse, you should be good to go.
