Reverse not working on my 1982 rear engine Snapper

I do not have the model number due to some previous owner taking it off.....I got the old 82' running but it won't go in reverse.....any ideas?......I have a new rubber wheel for underneath that I'm gonna install by the end of this week.

Install the new clutch wheel.
For reverse the wheel needs to cross over the center of the steel drive plate.
There is a adjustment
