Report Site Issues to Me Here (or PM)

Hello All!

I know we solved a lot of the slow loading and speed issues earlier, but I've noted a few threads as well as some PMs coming in to me letting me know about continued issues. I haven't experienced it myself, so these reports to me are helpful in checking logs (and lately, making me feel like I need to add more logs) and trying to track down any issues causing the slow downs.

So if you experience any slowdown that lasts 5+ minutes and ALSO the rest of the Internet works (see if Google and TBN load, if they do, then LMF is the problem) you should send me a PM or reply to this thread to tell me about it. I may not instantly respond, but I'll check what date/time you said it happened on and see about tracking it down.

Thanks for helping me out and rest assured I'm keeping my eyes here to keep the site running fast!

11-13-25. For the last five hours ( just before noon until now) I have not been able to log on. Tells me it is unable to load page, try back later. Just thought I’d let you know.

FYI. 11-15-25. At 5:40 PM I tried to get on the site, got this message. Oops we ran into a problem, can’t load this page try again later. I could log in, but could not load any site pages. 6:30 PM I could log in an everything started working fine. Just to let you know.

Can you grab a screenshot of this next time, too?

I'm glad it's returning to normal without me having to go in and restart the server, but it shouldn't be failing in the first place. We've been dealing with a LOT of bot traffic that seems to ignore the protocols in place so I have to develop some custom blocking so they don't overwhelm the server.

Thank you! Ok, that's what I'm tracking down. Looks like a forum-level error rather than sever-resources, so that's good in some ways. I'll track this down and try to find out why it's happening and eliminate/reduce it (or explain it if it's something different than a bug)

Good news, everyone. I found the issue. Funny how solving the OLD issue drove up the activity and this issue turned into the "activity table" growing so large because people can use the forum again. BUT I modified that so it shouldn't lock when it fills up like that. If it does, I have a secondary solution ready to go.
