Replacement for Momba Blades

And these extra high lift mulcher blades are some of my customers can actually make use of too. Discharge using mulcher blades have always been a complaint here. I even a couple Gravely with standard hi lift blades that tends to clog up the deck in heavy grass. Maybe there is some extra high lift standard blades to be found too.

Now that is an interesting observation that has not occurred to me. I have a 60" Lesco Commercial walk behind. With the tremendous amount of rain May/June getting behind on my mowing and discharge clogging has been a huge annoyance. I had not considered might be due that this might be due to the style of blades on the mower. Need to look at this.

As I recall from a search a couple years ago Lesco sold out to someone/out of business. Anyone know where might find a digital manual?

That's the bad side of this site. Some here expect everyone to know the precise lingo for everything... I'm not a small engine tech, but understood that you were looking for a specific brand of blade. Why do some people just feel the need to make themselves feel superior is beyond me...

And we have to be good to read between the words at times, not just between the lines.

Like this one. "One dude of the pulley has a completely round metal center and the other side has the double d." If you take as written there is two dudes holding the pulley.

Ops really need to proof read their posts at times Correct spelling is important to someone like me that researches things they never heard of.

Exactly, thank you! You can see that the poster right below your post does't get it either. No further information was needed to satisfy my question. I simply wanted to know if anyone had used that brand of blades and if so, if they had found a replacement that they thought was close. Case closed. Someone else accused me of withholding info and wanting to be secretive. Amazing!
 
You would be surprise how the additional info helps. Having the correct base info does help a lot. Any additional info also helps. Search engine are only as good as the info fed into them.

IF it wasn't MParr being familiar with a name I would have never found who made and who currently makes them. With correct name I was able to find a J Thomas catalog that gave me the info that wasn't provided like the type of blade and other specs.

This has added more info here that can be used for others as to where to find them and who took over J Thomas assets when they went under. This helps me to be a better procurement officer as I now have the specs for Mamba blades to work from.
