Replacement blower?

Still using the GW 40v 24282 blower from over 7 years ago. It's getting 'rattle-y' in use like the motor bushings are worn.

Thing is, there's 3-4 or more GW blowers at 40v. So, wondering which would be a good fit. My wife likes the light weight of the present blower, but I would at least like to get a brushless motor I think. Variable speed, brushless motor, and light weight I guess are the most important things.

I don't think that you can buy one tool only. My own experience with the brushed version of this blower is that it's very loud and very over rated with respect to its specified performance. I've got the 40V Brushless Blower/Vac Mike mentions and it works great for both blowing and vacuuming. I was going to add the 40V Brushless Jet Fan that Mike also mentioned to my collection but instead bought the 80V Kobalt Brushless Axial Jet Fan which is so much more powerful and not much heavier than the GW 40V Blower/Vac. With the Kobalt on the wall, it now seldom gets used as a Blower but it is the only Leaf VAC I've got (gave away my old Barracuda Corded Blower/Vac), so it gets plenty of use as a vac.

I've got 3 different 18V Ryobi blowers and my brother has 2 different versions of Ryobi 40V Blowers (none of which are brushless) and the 40V GW Blower/Vac is a better performing blower than any of these.

GW 40V Brushless Blower/Vac: 185 MPH / 340 CFM (8.88 lbs w/ 4Ah battery set up as a blower)
GW 40V Brushless Axial Blower: 115MPH / 430 CFM
others I own or used:
Kobalt 80V KHB-2580-06: 140 MPH / 630 CFM (9.16 lbs w/ 2.5Ah battery)
Ryobi 18V P2180 Jet Fan: 100 MPH / 280 CFM (6.18 lbs w/ 4Ah battery)
Ryobi 40V RY40430 Jet Fan: 110 MPH / 480CFM (9.66 lbs w/ 3.0Ah battery)
Ryobi 40V RY40411 Jet Fan: 155 MPH / 300 CFM (8.54 lbs w/ 2.6Ah battery)

the little blower I have now weighs 3.3 lbs !!!

if she's gonna notice the weight anyway (hah!), might put the blower/vac on price watch. In the past, I had a blower/vac but the vac part was annoying, too much time emptying the dang bag. MUCH less leaf litter at this property.

Are the axials usually lighter? they look like they could be.

The lightest blower I have is the first Ryobi 18V (P2102, 120 MPH / 120 CFM) and it weighs 4.57 lbs. w/ 4Ah battery.

GW states the 240032 40V Brushless Axial Blower is:
7.46 lbs. no battery & 9.26 lbs. with the 2Ah Battery
which is heavier than the 40V Brushless Blower-Vac set up as a blower:
6.00 lbs. no battery & 7.82 lbs. with the 2Ah Battery or 8.88 lbs. with the 4Ah battery (actual UPS Scale weights)
