This is my third replacement blade I've bought for my craftsman mower. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why craftsman puts the sticker directly on the blade...with an adhesive from hell.
How does one completely remove the sticker and the gunk left behind? I've tried Goo Gone, and the adhesive just laughed at it.

Mow with it. It'll get blasted off by sand and grass clippings.

if the sticker is over the mounting hole(s), just use a propane torch, you know , the little home depot ones and burn the crap off, sticker would interfere with the surface of the blade to spindle if you dont remove it

Propane torch might mess up the heat temper of the blade, which could make it unsafe for use.
Boron steel blades so no worries about affecting it with a propane torch.

besides I said the little propane plumbers torch you get fro home depot, if you get that hot enough to destroy temper then by God the lords of smelting are with you!!!!!!
just burn off the paper, would take less than a minute for pete's sake
