Replace coil old poulan blower

Okay here is question.

If so then the part should pull straight off as there a flat on the crankshaft in the same area as the notch. Actually should be the hex part (Suppose to be in the fan) and a separate washer. Probably dealing with a rust on part.

It is a notch. Will spray it 1st and see
