Turned engine over by hand today and it turned smoothly. Thumb compression check felt a little weak, will have to test with guage. Im thinking I may need to pull heads and do a valve job on it. During my tinkering with the mower today I was checking out the condition of the deck and noticed the entire deck jackshaft kit assembly was missing. #@$#$!!! Thats gonna cost me to replace. As for the accelerator pump, I may have found a work around way to fix it for $12, more on that later if it works. Thats all I did for today on the mower...Stay Tuned....no wait, dont do that just come back to the forum tomorrow.
