When falls' dead crunchy leaves fall to the ground, what do you do to get them up? Do you rake them, blow them, vacuum them or run over them with the mulching mower?
Hey ... you hit everything I now do...
Many years ago I could have added burn, (have not done that for a long time now)...
I will rake and blow them to places that I can easily mulch mow them... and I do use a cyclone engine powered vac to gather compost, so I guess I do all but mulch mow almost all... :smile:KennyV

This I like. As kids we rake all leaves in one pile then we jump on them. A neighbor brought blanket on top of the leaves and we had fun. But the mother got very angry and scolded us all. Never mind we had fun.
But to answer the question on the thread, we just rake them (I already said that, yes ^_^)
I guess I left off two important options.......burn and pile. Since I live out in the country, it's common practice out here to rake 'em up into piles and then burn them. And yes, I'm spent many childhood days jumping into piles of leaves my dad had made. I guess that will always be something those with kids or grandkids do. I pity the folks that live in the city  .
