I may need a brake pad/pads for this mower, and can't find it listed anywhere. The rear axle parts diagrams don't include the brakes. I'm not sure I need it yet, but was looking it up just in case. There is one disc, on the left side of the axle. have 2 of these, one at my house, the other at a family member's house. That one may need the brake pad. I worked out problems with losing deck belts, drive belt tension pulley etc. Overall, I like the mower for a moderate size lawn. Thanks in advance.

Most brake assemblies have a center adjuster friction lock nut that can be tightened a little at a time until the brakes grab again. It takes a little bit of riding a tightening to get the adjustment where you want it. The brake should act as a parking lock when the clutch/brake pedal is fully depressed and locked in place
