Pulling the string on new ZTR...

Well, think I will pull the sring and go with a Toro Titan MX4880 tomorrow. Sight overkill for my smooth 1.5 acre lot w/ 1 acre to be mowed. Got the things that seem important i.e Kawasaki, fabricated deck, ZT3100 hydros, bearings not bushings, 22" tires, 6" on front. Dealer offering at $4300. Will add on another $130 or so for a multch kit. Anyone objecting to this holy matrimony or price speak now or forever hold your peace...!?!?!? Seem like a reasonable deal?

Personally, I would go for it. My dealer wouldn't even come close to that. I ended up purchasing the MX5060 on-line. The dealer wanted $4199 which is MSRP, even though you could buy it on-line at the Toro site for $3999 and have it delivered by the local dealer. I would have snapped up the deal that you are being offered in a heartbeat.

By the way, the MX5060 is awesome. The Titan will be awesomer...

You will not regret it 1 iota. I use mine for a 1/2 acre, lol.
But now, I also use it to mow our 1 1/2 acre vacant lot at work once a month. Doing that is now covering 95% of the monthly payment.

Are you sure that's not the Titan ZX4820, instead of the MX4880......and new??? Otherwise, you better grab that deal as I agree with the others....that's a very low price for that ZTR???

$4300?!? Let me know if they want to sell more at that price. I'll buy one. Like others have said, that seems really low for the Titan MX.

Personally, until validated by the OP, I think that's a ZX Titan, not an MX Titan:0)

Well, that could be a 2012 model a dealer still has in inventory. And it looks like Toro(just like a lot of mfg's) had a price increase in 2013. When I was looking at the Toros last fall, i could have gotten into a Titan MX5480 for $5,300 plus tax or a Z-Master 2000 Series 52" for $6,100 plus tax. Another user(TAZ) posted in this thread that his Toro dealer wanted $5899 for the MX4880. That's $600 more than I could have gotten the 54" Titan MX for in last year's model.

WOW! And I can't imagine much changed on the mower since last year!

I`m also looking at the Toro ZX4820 for $4599 after a $500 rebate.
