Hey, any quick answers for this problem. I bought this used mower, had put new battery in it, was running, cutting fine. then quit starting unless put on charger. Then the mower deck would just shutoff while mowing, I figured it was pto switch, so replaced. Now after jump starting mower, when I pull pto switch the mower deck comes on for a few seconds then shuts down, then mower dies. I charged the battery for a couple hours and the mower runs and cuts fine.
I think it has to do with the mower not charging the battery, I'm not a mechanic, but can replace parts. What part would cause the mower to not charge the battery? pictures would help or description of part that may need to be looked at.
Simplicity mower lth12.5, 38" deck
