PTO Sometimes Does Not Engage

I have a Kubota Kommander Z121S. Recently it has failed to engage the pto motor when I pull the pto button up. Sometimes if I leave the button up it start after several seconds. Most of the time I cut it on and off until the blade motor kicks in. Could I be lucky enough for this to just be the switch giving up the ghost? ?

I would check the ground for good solid clean connection

possibly, i would also check air gap at PTO clutch itself 3 places.

Thanks for the help! Replaced the pto switch with a ten amp upgrade and it is now working fine!
