Trying to do spindle bearings on a Z master s/n 313000488 with a 48" deck.
Mower is 18 months old and requires two sets of spindle bearings.
This appears to be due to blocked grease nipples.
The owners has methodically given the nipples a few strokes every week but all of them are blocked and appear to have been so from new as there is rust in both the tensioner pulley bushes.
These nipples seem to be an odd size, any one know what they actually are as they fit neither AF , metric or Whitworth spanners.

Second question is should the holes in the spindle pulleys line up with the holes in the deck adjacent to the spindles for the purpose of locking the spindle.
Or is there a Toro special tool to hold on to the pulley mandrel to allow for removal of the spindle nuts
Yes , you guessed it I can not for the life of me get the spindle nuts off and they are a tad big for my nut crackers.
