When I push in primer bulb the engine begins immediately. After running about five minutes, the engine stops. I will go to prome it again and the bulb has sucked in. The air filter is clean and the lawn mower is only a year old.

Follow the directions and you will probably get the help you are looking for.

The air vent into the carb bowl is blocked.
Can't tellyou how to fix it because I don't know what mower & carb you have, Pity.
