How many people still can and bottle their own preserves? It is strawberry season in my neck of the woods so yesterday I made a batch of strawberry jam.
The year I was pregnant for my son I was nesting most of the summer and I literally canned everything. I have even tried my hand at sauerkraut as well.
Sauerkraut, now that is an interesting food not everyone eats. I used to eat that when I used to go to my grandmothers, she was German, it was a popular food for them.
