Installed new drive belt on my PM152Z and while I had the wheels off I adjusted the brakes as the manual instructs. The next day I warmed up hydralics and adjusted the drive wheels to not creep or turn. Later I adjusted the control levers to be even with each other and that's when everything went sideways. I probably went about this in the wrong order but now I can't get my mower to turn over. I don't think I am getting a neutral on both levers to allow it to start. How do i get the levers adjusted to get back to a position where I can get the machine to fire up?
Any suggestions?

On the mower end of the lever when in the park position they will be depressing a plunger on a switch.
Some can be very hard to find hidden inside frame channels out of the way .
Find the switch
MAke sure the plungers are depressed and the plug on the back is secure.
Remove the plug, spray you favourite goop into the socket then replace & remove it a few times to clean the contacts
If it is loose, bend the contacts in a bit
On some I have to put a small self tapper into the end of the plunger to get it to travel far enough to activate the switch

Is this the brake safety switch that is activated when the park brake is set?
