Please help me find this part!

Alright you guys, I have searched forever for this one simple part. I don't know why it's so impossible to find, but it seems to be. I have a Cub Cadet XT1 Enduro 50", and it has been mostly a <fkn> lemon since I've had it (about 9 years?). ANYWAY, I had a hose rot and the mower wouldn't run anymore. So the hose runs to the top of the gas tank, and then into the air filter area. Without it, the engine will run for a bit but then sputter out. My searches have suggested that it's an EPA EVAP hose, but I have been unable to confirm, and unable to find one for purchase. I found what Kohler showed was the part, and the part number, but nobody sold it, and I had to go to China to finally find one. When it eventually came in, it was like 5 inches long. This thing is supposed to be like 4 feet! Can someone PLEASE shed some light on this?! I really need to cut my grass.

Item 1 is part number 751-12089-51 or 751-12089-45 depending on length

The thing about lawnmowers is the engine, transmission and the mower itself are considered 3 different products as far as parts lookup . So what you posted is the part number for the vent line that comes with the engine from the factory. The part from the engine to the tank would be considered a MTD Cub Cadet part,

I'm coming up with 751-12089-34 for the 13AQA1TLA10 model (all four years). This is a 3/16 ID by 34 inches length hose. Can be a simple rubber vacuum line hose or a braid fuel line hose. The vacuum hose is not meant for handling raw fuel but works fine as a vent line. Your local auto parts dealer should have it.

BTW the PNs IL post are also valid as they are 51 and 45 inch length 3/16 hoses.


Personally I stock both types here in bulk lengths as I worked on kids ATV until late this year. But a couple ripoff customers has caused me to quit servicing them. They can now go to the higher priced shops.
