Peerless 6845-P91 IPL needed.

Was this tranny on a Murray tractor? Looks to me like a 900 series tranny which very little information is available. Glad to hear you solved the problem, as it would take someone who still has the microfiche to get an IPL for you.

Yes it is in a 2001 Murray 425611X99B. The 6845-P91 VST transaxle was considered non serviceable so they apparently released no info on it other than how to change the oil. And this unit is needing seals, its damp with oil. Apparently it was a very good design to hold up 25 yrs. I was just hoping someone (us old farts) had came across the info.

How he got a marble stuck in the linkage is a mystery. He always bugging me so about dating women and he dresses like a bum. Now I got a couple things to pester him about. Losing one of his marbles and one of his nuts. When the VST dies he will have to get a newer mower.
