Gentlemen, new here but hope to find answer. Mower is a YTH 22V46 2 years old, the lever to engage the parking deck will not raise up to keep the parking brake locked on. Where the rod comes from the on-- off sliding handle to the main brake rod that is stepped on to engage the brake it appears that it has shifted to the right about 1/2 inch. Is there an adjustment to move the brake pedal rod back to the left that half an inch or has something gotten bent and needs to be replaced? Thanks in advance!!!
it's either loose or bent out of shape , remove it and inspect then re attach , make sure nothing is in the way keeping it from moving up and down , do it manually and see where the binding is if any
