I talked to my local Toro dealer and he gave me the information to determine whether I needed new paddles for my CCR 2000. I learned there is a wear indicator on the paddles and my paddles were well beyond needing replacement. I bought a new set and went to work replacing the old ones. It was a challenge to get the bolts started at the ends of the paddles. I eventually devised a way to do the job. As luck would have it, it snowed last night so I got to try them out. WOW, what a difference new paddles make. Snow removal is fun now. The rooster tail brought a smile to my face.

I will try to remember to do that the next time it snows.
