I am looking at getting the dethacher and trimmer lice from echo has anyone used one?? And what size motor should I get???

For the trimmer you would probably be OK with getting the PAS-225, but the dethatcher attachment only works on the PAS-230, 231, 260, 261, and 265. Personally I like the looks of the PAS-265, which looks like it is no longer being made in 2013:
