When caring for your lawn do you try and use organic methods to get rid of weeds or would you just treat your lawn with commercial weedkiller?

The only 'organic' effective weed killer that is apt to work is manually pulling the weeds...

The best we do is make sure that what we use is not toxic to animals. I don't think there is anything else that is really effective, but maybe soon.
