Hook up a test fuel tank hanging above the engine with a fuel line that has a tap installed.
Pull the bowl and hold the float up with your finger, turn the fuel tap on then let the float move down.
Wok the float up & down a bit.
If all is good you should have a strong flow of fuel which should stop flowing when the float is horizontal.
If you only have a very weak bribble then the fuel passage is blocked up and needs cleaning.
If the float cuts the fuel off before it is horizonal then it needs adjusting if it does not stop till higher then horizontal then the needle & seat will need replacing.
