Hi everyone,
last year with a lot of excellent help and advice from this forum, I took apart and cleaned the carb on this mower. I also resolved the broken nipple on the gas tank which seemed to be causing my initial problem. The mower runs and cuts fine, but periodically revs up and puffs out a cloud of white smoke...I've spent some time with this mower...had it since new....and would like to resolve this problem if possible...anyone any suggestions as to what might be the problem and how to troubleshoot it?
Thank you.

White smoke is usually caused by water getting into places it shouldn't be, like in the gas. I would suggest looking at similar threads to see if they help:
