i have done more work and put the new spark plug in still no change

i have removed the top part and have got to the points and coil and condenser and now i need some help if any one is able to help me

on how to test and how it works and will the cracks in the black unit be the problem (i assume this is a coil)

You can clean those points with a fingernail emery board, but make sure afterwards, you run some thin cardboard through them to clean any abraisive out of them.

You'll be able to test the coil also with the information I passed along to you. You should have that little G100V singing like a bird in no time.

again thanks to everyone it has risen from the dead and runs very well i checked the coil and condenser with the shop manual cleaned the points (with an nail file) and adjusted the points

i put it back together findind the woodruff key to be replaced with a made up piece of metal this gave problems in get it it together again but did it in the end

and went to pull it a few time just to prime it as i thought i had the switch in the off position but i did not on the first pull that was not hard the motor spin over and ran no problem i cut the next doors grass with it

i will be going to take it apart again just to replace the wood ruff key but apart from that change the oil and sharpen the blades

and if you are intrested i will post hope later today my next project i think you will be amazed at what i have found back later you will have to wait untill i get a pic so i can post it

again thanks for all your help if you are still able i might need it on the next one oh what is it i hear you cry lol
