Which aluminum should I buy for my new spool gun. Of course I know it depends what I am attempting to weld which is likely crankcases.

Both a good general purpose aluminum welding wire.

Just don't want to get some junk version like the local welding sold me for my gasless wire welder for welding mild steel in the past. It had made a mess out of every weld until I got the correct flux core wire thru Amazon. I mean a lot of splatter and burn through.

I kind of like to match up the metals.

Okay decided on the MgAl wire as I needed a M10-1.25 bottom tap too.
