Oil Quick Drain Valve

2022 BB Maverick with the 747 Kohler engine. Looking to replace the brass plug, on the end of oil drain tube, with a one-way valve to drain oil easier. Any recommendations?
If I buy a quick drain valve, what thread size would I need to fit on the existing, threaded brass fitting? Trying to avoid buying the whole tube assembly, just for the drain valve.

Thanks in advance, the advice is appreciated.

Quick drain valves are prone to get hit accidently and empty the oil out when running. I've seen too many engines that lived a short life due to people using these valves. Sometimes trying to make things easier gets expensive in the long run.

This is what I did on my Honda powered Maverick HD. Fumoto valve, brass 1/2 nipples and 90, and a size specific adapter for the block

on some engines an oil siphon is easier. I've never found a quick drain that was less of a hassle than the factory one. Hoses rot, get pulled loose etc..
